Located on one of the marvelous bays of Bodrum, Mandarin Oriental Bodrum is a mixed use project including residences, a hotel, recreation areas and a protected natural zone on approximately 600 acres. The aim of the project is to generate a continuous annual use in Bodrum where people mostly inhabit during summers. In relation with the renovation of Bodrum Airport, it is thought that the air traffic will increase and Bodrum will start to be used in other seasons as well. Therefore, GAD's approach was to provide a complex with different functions that can be used during the whole year. The hotel in Cennet Koyu consists of 70 comfort rooms of various sizes and allows visitors to integrate with Mediterranean presenting leisure activities on an intersection of the beaches and protected green zone.

A short documentary film on the architecture of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences, Bodrum, Turkey by GAD Architecture led by Gokhan Avcioglu presented by architecture critic Gokhan Karakus. The film looks at the design of this resort hotel, hospitality center & residential community completed in 2014 Göltürkbükü in the Bodrum Peninsula, on the Aegean Sea coastline of Turkey. The film focuses on the architectural synthesis of the natural setting and the extensive built environment on this bay in Bodrum. Karakus takes viewers on a tour of GAD's architecture for the Mandarin Oriental focusing on the harmonious balance between place and nature in realizing the different program activities for this large-scale resort and residential community.
