Architect Habibeh Madjdabadi is an emerging figure in Iran's contemporary architecture scene. Her House of 40 Knots building in Teheran that applied the geometric complexity of Persian carpet weaving to a brick facade established her design credentials to an international audience. In this interview with Hamid Hassanzadeh of PA, she discusses the role of her material and formal experiments within the traditions of Iranian architecture and craft.
