Farshad Mehdizadeh Lectures At Contemporary Istanbul 2019

Farshad Mehdizadeh of Tehran based Farshad Mehdizadeh Design and Tehran Architecture Studio presented his architecture at the Contemporary Istanbul art fair to an audience of artists, architects,students and art enthusiasts on September 12, 2019 as part of the CI Dialogues talks. In this lecture organised by the GAD Foundation, Mehdizadeh showed experimental and built work  realised over the past 20 years. 

He focused on context and structure showing designs from residential buildings to shopping centers that employed exploratory geometries and intriguing structures. Mehdizadeh is one of a number of young Iranian architects emerging internationally including the likes of Habibeh  Madjdabadi who was recently interviewed by the GAD Foundation.
