Smart City Summit 2019

Digital urbanism was subject of the discussion at the  “Designer’s of Cities: Views of the Digital Future''panel at the 3rd Digital City conference organised by Para magazine at the St. Regis Hotel in Istanbul on December 19, 2019. A group of speakers including GAD Architecture found Gökhan Avcıoğlu spoke on series of subjects on cities and technology. Gokhan Avcioglu stated that in the future there will be a type of urbanization where private life is minimized and common public areas will be rapidly growing. Avcıoğlu explained that people have memories about cities, so instead of constantly renewing them, memories should be collected whenever possible in Urban Design. The panel was moderated by Home Art Editorial Director Yasemin Savcı and included Serfor Karataban, Teamfores Architecture Founder, Yeditepe University Head of Architecture Assoc. Dr. Ece Ceylan Baba  and Kerem Piker of KPM.
