Gokhan Avcioglu Speaks About Stone in Architecture

Gokhan Avcioglu was interviewed as part of the Istanbul Mineral Exporters’ Association series of “IMIB Natural Stone Interviews” on YouTube and Facebook Live organized by the Arkitera Center for Architecture. In a wide-ranging conversation with IMIB’s Natura magazine editor Yasemin Sener, Avcioglu spoke about GAD ground breaking designs in stone. Architecture in stone has long been a specialization of GAD dating from projects such as Castle Rock, The Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum Swissotel Bodrum and Kuum Hotel all in Bodrum to the more recent experimental designs for Kapadokya Kepez. Avcioglu also reiterated the support by GAD and the GAD Foundation has given to education in architecture in stone.
